Welcome to Ward 12 at St John\u2019s Hospital, Livingston. Our department is a 6 bedded inpatient area providing care for patients requiring elective or emergency gynaecology treatment. Urodynamics involves a series of diagnostic tests that help us understand how Ward 12 provides specialist inpatient gynaecology care 24 hours a day for patients who require a hospital stay. This includes planned surgical procedures as well as the assessment and treatment of acute gynaecological emergencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to our inpatient service, we operate a 24\u2011hour emergency gynaecology triage area, where patients are assessed promptly and efficiently, ensuring timely access to safe, high\u2011quality care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our highly trained and experienced staff work closely together to deliver personalised care, maintaining a strong focus on dignity, respect and compassion throughout every patient\u2019s journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Planned admissions to Ward 12 are usually arranged following an outpatient assessment by a Gynaecology team. Emergency admissions are via referral from a GP, Emergency Department, NHS24 or another hospital speciality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
