The Genetic Service is based at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh. We are located in the David Brock Building, which is on Porterfield Road, in front of the main Out Patients Department building, and across from the Royal Victoria Building. Entry is through the blue door at the Crewe Road end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are one of the four Genetics Clinics serving Scotland and cover Lothian, Borders, and Fife (except the East Neuk). General genetics clinics are offered in various hospitals within this area including St Johns Hospital, Queen Margaret Hospital and Victoria Hospital. Several specialist clinics including Neurogenetics, Marfan Syndrome and Endocrine Genetics, are held in Edinburgh. Referrals can be made by any of the following routes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
