This page provides an introduction to a variety of Falls education resources that all health and social care staff can access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of this page is to provide essential information and learning in an easy to navigate manner for different staff groups working in social care across Lothian Health and Social Care Partnerships<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

For ALL staff – Introduction to Falls<\/h2>

All staff working in care homes (including domestic staff, kitchen staff etc) have a responsibility to be aware of factors contributing to falls.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

There is lots of information and guidance about falls on the Falls Webpage<\/a>, in addition the following resources are easily accessed by all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is an excellent introductory video (55 minutes), it provides practical help, guidance and tools and signposts to resources available online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This learning programme of 6 modules makes use of resources developed as part of the Care about Physical Activity (CAPA) programme which was run by Scotland\u2019s Care Inspectorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
