Welcome to the first step of the Lothian Care Academy Leadership Pathway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here you’ll find out about what the leadership pathway is and how to navigate it, including a brief introduction to what leadership is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ve also included a self-reflection starter below, for you to have a think about where your skills already are, and what learning you might want to prioritise first.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Reflective practice<\/strong> is an important skill in a care career, there will be several points throughout the pathway when you will be encouraged to reflect on your learning and practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things to look out for as you explore the Leadership Pathway Resource:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Within the 3 stages: building, developing and expanding, you will see that they have been broken into three different factors of leadership, by breaking it down it will enable you to consider where your own strengths lie and any areas you want to develop further;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
