<strong>Registered Nurses<\/strong> working in Care Homes and Care at Homes Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">The aim of the course is to provide participants with current evidence and best practice guidelines in relation to catheterisation, and offer an opportunity to challenge examples of poor practice in a supportive environment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-light-accent-grey-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Intended Learning Outcomes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">By the and associated  challenges for catheterisation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discuss alternative measures for managing continence <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explain your rationale for deciding to catheterise and selection of appropriate catheter, drainage and fixation system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explain the purpose of the CAUTI bundle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-light-accent-grey-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Structure of Education Session:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sessions are delivered by  <a href=\"https:\/\/services.nhslothian.scot\/carehomes\/nhs-lothians-clinical-education-training-team-for-care-homes-cet\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/services.nhslothian.scot\/carehomes\/nhs-lothians-clinical-education-training-team-for-care-homes-cet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NHS Lothian Clinical Education Team<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Face to face practical learning and education session<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Half Day Session (3.5 hours)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-light-accent-grey-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2
