In December 2021, an extensive expert review found failings in the standard of hearing tests carried out on babies and very young children in NHS Lothian\u2019s Paediatric Audiology service<\/strong>.  Typically, these hearing  tests would be carried out on babies and children who failed newborn hearing screening tests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
