Conversational movement – when your eye makes small eye movements during talking to someone – is far more important in everyday life, rather than extreme side-to-side, left-to-right movements.

Your artificial eye will move with its partner and should not move of its own accord. The exact degree of movement will vary between person to person depending upon how much muscle is left after the surgery and if it is still in good condition.

An Orbital Implant is inserted into the socket at the time of surgery in most cases nowadays and this ball-shaped implant buried under the surface helps to fill the volume that was previously taken up by the eye itself.
